Oh my God, I've been interviewed

by LEMullin

Hello everyone,

The last few weeks have been fantastic for two reasons, and I want to share them with you:

The first one is that The Everlasting Return, the graphic novel that I made a couple of years ago, has been reviewed by Sheena McNeil at Sequential Tart. It's a very positive review, I got a ten (out of ten!). Here's the review, if you want to read it: http://www.sequentialtart.com/reports.php?ID=8847&issue=2013-09-30

And the second, I got interviewed at Sequential Tart! This is amazing, I'd never been interviewed before. Here's the link: http://www.sequentialtart.com/article.php?id=2500

If you're curious, there are a few preview pages at the publisher's homepage, Zetabella: http://zetabella.com/project/the-everlasting-return-graphic-novel/. They are amazing people, and very professional (and they are accepting submissions for graphic novels and fiction novels, so do take a look at their homepage if you're a creator ).

That's pretty much all I wanted to say. See you in the funny papers!

A word by the author

Hello everyone,

This story, Silver Nights, is going to be a long one. And when I say long, I really mean it. I will be posting religiously every Tuesday until it's finished, a few years down the line. However, the story will be made of sixteen page mystery stories, so you can read each one separately without getting too confused (I hope).

Last year, I did a four issue comic called The Everlasting Retur, and it was published by the great folks at Zetabella (you can check it at http://zetabella.com/project/the-everlasting-return-graphic-novel/). It's a story about  magic, children's books and the end of the world, in case you were wondering. After writing and drawing what is an 88 page story, I thought, well, I'm going to do short stories now. But as soon as I started drafting Silver Nights, I realised I had a larger story unfolding, and it was that of the death of Wilson Jones, Private Eye. So that's why Silver Nights is composed of sixteen pages short stories, but will have the lenght of a novel.

Unless life gets in the way, I will be posting once a week until I finish the whole story. Right now I'm more than two months (or ten pages) ahead of schedule, so updates are assured every Tuesday, at least for now.

I also want to say thank you to all the people who have said nice things about Silver Nights, it's really appreciated.

Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I do,

LE Mullin
